Eligibility Criteria of ESIC Recruitment :

Essential Qualification:

(A)

(i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing from a recognised University of Institute; or Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; and
(ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered Mid-wife) with State Nursing council.

OR

(B) 

(i) Diploma in General Nursing Mid-Wifery from a recognised Board of Council; and
(ii) Registered as a nurse or nurse and mid-wife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered Midwife) with State Nursing Council;
(iii) One year experience in minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification at (B) (i) above.

Age Limit: Age of the candidates must between 18 to 30 years as on the cut off date.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process of ESIC Recruitment :

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) to short-list the candidates for recruitment to the post of Nursing Officer.

Date of test: 7th July 2024

Duration of test: The test will be of two hours duration

Medium of test: The medium of the test will be English.

Centres of test in Assam: Dispur and Jorhat

Type of question: Object type MCQ

Negative marking: Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.
