Eligibility Criteria for RRB JE Recruitment 2026
Candidates applying for the RRB JE and allied posts must be between 18 and 33 years of age as on 1st January 2027.
The upper age limit relaxation available for reserved categories includes 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. PwBD candidates belonging to UR and EWS categories are eligible for 10 years of relaxation, while PwBD candidates belonging to OBC/NCL and SC/ST categories are eligible for 13 years and 15 years of relaxation respectively. Educational Qualification for RRB JE Recruitment 2026

JE/S&T/Telecommunication accepts qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Computer Science and related disciplines. For Depot Material Superintendent, a three-year Diploma in Engineering in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution is required.
Application Fees for RRB JE Recruitment 2026
SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward Class candidates are required to pay Rs. 250/-. Candidates belonging to other categories have to pay Rs. 500/-. Medical Fitness Standards
Candidates must meet the medical standards prescribed for the applicable post. The notification mentions medical standards A-3, B-1, B-2 and C-1, with specific requirements related to distance vision, near vision and other visual fitness tests.
