Indian Coast Guard has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 170 posts of Assistant Commandant ( Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer) for Assistant Commandant 2027 batch. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.

 

Indian Coast Guard Assist. Commandant Jobs Details :

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty (GD) [Male] No of posts: 140 [SC:25, ST:24, OBC:35, EWS:10, UR:46]

2. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics)  [Male] No of posts: 30 [SC:3, ST:4, OBC:8, EWS:2, UR:13]

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Coast Guard Assist. Commandant Vacancy 2025 :

You should be at the age of between 21 – 25 Years

Age Limit: 21-25 years as on 01 Jul 2026 i.e. born between 01 Jul 2001 & 30 Jun 2005 (Both dates inclusive). 05 Years relaxation for personnel serving in Coast Guard or equivalent personnel in Army/Navy/Air Force.

Educational Qualification for Indian Coast Guard Assist. Commandant Vacancies 2025 :

for  Assistant Commandant General Duty (GD) [Male] Should hold a Graduate Degree from a recognised university Mathematics and Physics as subject upto Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess a diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

for Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics)  [Male] (i) Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in Naval Architecture or Mechanical or Marine or Automotive or Mechatronics or Industrial and Production or Metallurgy or Design or Aeronautical or Aerospace. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section “A” and “B” and their associate membership examination (AMIE). (ii) Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in Electrical or Electronics or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Communication or Power Engineering or Power Electronics. OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of the Engineers (India) as exempted from section “A” and “B’ and their associate membership examination (AMIE). (iii) Mathematics and Physics as subject upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent. The candidates who have completed graduation after diploma, are also eligible, provided they should possess an diploma with physics and mathematics in its curriculum.

 

Application Fees for Indian Coast Guard Assist. Commandant Naukri 2025 :

All candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only) through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI.
