Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 4 Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant and Junior Administrative Assistant cum Accounts Assistant posts on Contractual basis in the Assam State School Education Board, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati-21. ASSEB Recruitment Details :

1. Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant No of posts: 02 posts [UR: 02] Pay Scale : Rs. 18,000/- per month Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in Computer Science or related subject, from a Govt. recognized institution only, having minimum 50% marks in 10th, 50% in 12th and 50% in graduation. Note: For the candidate having MCA qualification from a Govt. recognized institute, extra marks, up to maximum 15, will be awarded during the selection process. For the candidates having work experience in relevant field in any Govt. or Govt. Undertaking offices, extra marks, up to maximum 10, will be awarded during the selection process.

2. Junior Administrative Assistant cum Accounts Assistant No of posts: 02 posts [UR: 01, OBC/MOBC: 01] Pay Scale : Rs. 18,000/- per month Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate in Commerce, from a Govt. recognized institution only, having minimum 50% marks in 10th, 50% in 12th and 50% in graduation. Note: Candidates having CA inter passing certificate will be awarded extra marks of 10 during the selection process. For the candidates having work experience in relevant field in any Govt. or Govt. Undertaking offices, extra marks, up to maximum 10, will be awarded during the selection process.

 

Eligibility Criteria of ASSEB Vacancy 2026 :

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2026.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidate must be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.

Application Fees for ASSEB Naukri 2026:

Applicant has to deposit an amount of Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) for GENERAL category and Rs. 350/- (Three hundred only) for candidates under reserved category. Fee is to be paid online only.

Selection Process for ASSEB Recruitment 2026 :

• One Common Recruitment Test 2026 (CRT 2026) will be conducted for all the successfully applied candidates. Modalities of the Test will be notified later on.
• Based on Common Recruitment Test and marks awarded as per criteria laid down in the advertisement, candidates will be shortlisted for the further selection process.
• Further selection process will include Document Verification, Skill test and Computer Test/ Tally Test.
