Application Fee for GU Certificate :

You have to pay the below mentioned amount as an application fee which is variable according to the courses you have applied for to get the certificate.

Note: The cost of the duplicate certificate will be twice the cost of the original certificate. Also, the above mentioned fee is subject to change, so verify on the official website while applying.

Documents Required :

• an ID Card for proof
• Original GU Registration Certificate
• Recent Passport Size Photograph
• Signature
• Marksheet copies of all the parts of the concerning examinations

How to Apply :

1. Scroll down, go to Important Links section
2. Click on the “Online Apply Link” and complete the registration process by clicking “New User”.
   If you already have login credentials of Gauhati Univeristy Registration ID or Employment ID, just login
3. Fill in all your details including Name, Email ID, Password, etc.
4. After that, a confirmation email will be sent to your given email address, check your email inbox and verify your email.
5. Now again visit below given GU Certificate Apply Link.
6. Enter the Registration ID and Employment ID and proceed to get OTP.
7. In the next stage, fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
8. After completing all these steps, candidates must pay application fee as per their category.
9. At the end, submit the form.
10. Don’t forget to take out the print of the payment receipt.

After completing above mentioned steps without any error you need to visit Gauhati University’s Administrative Building and submit your application with all original copies of your uploaded documents such as Registration Certificate and Marksheets. Gauhati University will call you to collect your certificate after processing your request and this time can be between 20 to 30 days.
