Eligibility Criteria for Bank of Baroda LBO Recruitment 2026
Candidates applying for the Local Bank Officer posts must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 1st August 2026.
Age relaxation is available for specified categories. SC/ST candidates will receive 5 years of relaxation, while OBC-NCL candidates will receive 3 years. For PwBD candidates, the relaxation is 10 years for GEN/EWS, 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST candidates.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of an online examination or multiple rounds of testing, followed by a psychometric test or another test considered appropriate by the Bank.
Candidates qualifying in the online examination may be called for the interview process.

There will be negative marking in all sections. For every wrong answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted.
The English Language section is qualifying in nature, and marks obtained in this section will not be counted towards the final merit list.
Group Discussion / Personal Interview
Candidates must achieve the required minimum marks in each section and the overall online examination to be shortlisted for the Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview. The shortlisting will depend on vacancies, prescribed cut-off marks and overall performance.
Candidates appearing for GD/PI must secure at least 60% marks for the General category and 55% for Reserved category candidates. Candidates who do not qualify in the GD/PI will not be considered for final selection.
Language Proficiency Test
Shortlisted candidates must qualify in the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) for the State they have applied for. Candidates who fail the test will not be allowed to proceed to the Personal Interview and will be excluded from further selection.
Candidates who have studied the specified local language as a subject in Class 10th or 12th and can provide the relevant marksheet/certificate will be exempted from the Local Language Proficiency Test.
