BTC Kokrajhar Forester Recruitment Details :
1. Forester – I
No of posts: 47 posts
Pay Scale : P.B-2 ₹14,000 – ₹49,000 and GP: ₹6,200
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution or equivalent.
2. Forest Guard
No of posts: 110 posts
Pay Scale : P.B-2 ₹14,000 – ₹49,000 and GP: ₹5,600
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be minimum HS / 10+2 exam passed or equivalent.
Eligibility for BTR Forester Recruitment :
Resident-ship: Candidates must be permanent resident of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Assam.
Candidates belonging to the newly added 60 (sixty) Nos. of villages from Biswanath and Sonitpur District to Udalguri District under BTR vide Govt. Notification (i) No. E-233475/387, dated 21st Sept., 2024 and (ii) No.E-233475/303, dated 6th Nov., 2023 are also eligible to apply for the posts.
Age Limit: The candidates shall not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age as on 1st January, 2026. The upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Government norms: The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/HSLC Certificate/Admit Card/Birth Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council/Schools or other Government document as applicable and notified
Employment Exchange Registration : Applicants must be registered with any of the Employment Exchange of the state of Assam.

Selection Process of BTR Recruitment 2026 :
The selection process of BTC Forester & Forest Guard Recruitment 2026 consists of following three (3) stages.
Physical Test: The physical test comprises of 26 KM walking for male and 16 KM walking for female candidates to be completed within 4 hours. This will be followed by a medical examination.
Written Examination: A 100 marks test of multiple choice answers with 3 hours duration will be held. There is no negative marking.
Viva-Voce: All qualified candidates in the written examination will have to appear in a viva-voce test of 20 marks.
