Discipline-wise vacancy: 

  • Electrical: 40
  • Mechanical: 70
  • C&I: 40

Pay Scale: E4 Grade/ IDA (Rs. 70000– 200000/-)

Eligibility Criteria of NTPC Recruitment 2025 :

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC candidates & by 10 years for PwBD candidates. Relaxation of age to Ex-Serviceman will be as per Govt. guidelines.

Educational Qualification for NTPC Recruitment 2025 :

B.E/B. Tech Degree in concerned branch of engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.

Experience Profile: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification executive experience (including training period, if any) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite) in Operation/ Maintenance/ Commissioning/ Erection/ Engineering or combination thereof in the relevant discipline in a power plant/power project of capacity 200 MW or above.

Application Fees for NTPC Recruitment 2025 :

Candidate belonging to General/EWS/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/-. The SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category & female candidates need not pay the application fee.
