Other Criteria :

Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates must have a graduation degree from a UGC recognized university along with a NCTE recognized professional qualification such as a 2-year D.El.Ed./ B.Ed. However, candidates with a master’s degree will be given preference.
• For candidates in Dima Hasao, Karbi Anglong, and West Karbi Anglong districts, the minimum qualification is a graduation degree from a UGC recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with D.El.Ed/ B.Ed. qualifications.
• In Garo medium clusters of Kamrup and Goalpara districts, the minimum qualification is a graduation degree from a UGC recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with D.El.Ed/ B.Ed. qualifications.
• Additionally, candidates should be computer literate, with proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, internet browsing, and related tasks.

Other Criteria :

• Preference will be given to Assistant Teachers who have a Master’s Degree and are TET qualified. Additionally, Assistant Teachers with at least 5 years of teaching experience in Government or Provincialized schools will be preferred.
• Other eligibility criteria include being an in-service regular teacher of the elementary or secondary level in the working district, or an in-service contractual teacher under Samagra Shiksha, Assam, including State Pool Teachers, of the working district. Teachers applying must be of the same medium as the medium-specific cluster they are applying for.
• Single teachers of Science, Hindi, Classical, Arabic, or Sanskrit, as well as teachers of Mathematics and Science, will not be eligible. Teachers from single or double teacher schools, headmasters/head teachers, and teachers from high pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) schools are also ineligible. Additionally, teachers whose schools have not performed well in Gunotsav (Grade C & below) are not eligible.

Educational Qualification :

• BE (Civil) Engineering from Institutions recognized by AICTE and recognized universities with a minimum of 03 years of working experience altogether in Govt. Deptt / Organization /Pvt. Reputed Agencies/ Firm etc.
• Having experience in building design preparation, drawing and estimate.
• Candidate having experience in AutoCAD will be an added qualification.
• Must be Computer Literate with proficiency in MS Office .
