Eligibility Criteria of UPSC EPFO Recruitment :

Age Limit:

Age of the candidates must between 18 to 30 years as on the cut off date.

Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University.
    • Dictation for a period of 10 minutes with a Speed of 120 words per minute in Stenography (English or Hindi)
    • Transcription Time for the dictation taken as per (ii) (a): 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) (Only on Computer)

Application Fee:

  • ₹25/- to be paid cash/online at SBI or or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
  • No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.

  3. In the next stage, click on “Online Application Form” Link and Login.
  4. Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
  5. Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
  6. At the end, take a print out of the application form .

Selection Process :

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct a pen & paper based Recruitment Test (RT) followed by Skill Test(s) to short-list the candidates to appear in the Skill test(s) for the post of Personal Assistant. The date of Skill Test(s) will be intimated later on UPSC website.

Date of test: 7th July 2024

Duration of test: The test will be of two hours duration

Medium of test: The medium of Question Paper is in English and Hindi except for those questions in English Language.

Centres of test in Assam: Dispur and Jorhat

Type of question: Object type MCQ

Negative marking: Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question.

Syllabus  :

The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics :-

2 General Awareness.
3 Quantitative Aptitude.
4 Reasoning & Computer Aptitude.

 

Note:

# Based on the marks scored in the Recruitment test, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise to appear in the Skill Test(s) for the post(s) they have applied for.
(iii) Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The candidates who qualify the Skill Test will be considered for final selection on the basis of merit in the recruitment test.
