Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 4500 posts of Assistant Teacher in Lower and Upper Primary Schools of Assam under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam. DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment Details :

Name of Post : Assistant Teacher (LP) & Assistant Teacher (UP)

No of Posts : 4500 posts

# Lower Primary: 2900 posts
# Upper Primary: 1600 posts

Name of Department: Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam

Pay Scale : PB-2 of Rs.14,000 – Rs.70,000 plus Grade Pay and other allowances as admissible under the rules.

District-wise vacancy : The district-wise, medium-wise and category-wise break-up of vacancies showing the reservation for EWS/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women etc. can be seen at Advertisement Details (Vacancy Breakup) in due course of time.

Eligibility Criteria for DEE LP UP Teacher Recruitment :

Nationality: Candidates must be a Permanent Resident of Assam .

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2025.

Age Relaxation: The Category-wise age relaxation for different categories are as mentioned below:
# Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
# Persons with Disability (PwD): 10 years

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms .

Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school wherein the candidate wishes to apply

ATET/ CTET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET for LP/ UP will be eligible for applying.

Educational Qualification:

Post-wise educational qualifications for each posts are as mentioned below .

Assistant Teacher (LP) Qualification:  Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary School. Assistant Teacher (UP) Qualification:  Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). Graduate from the UGC-recognized University. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education. Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School. Science Teacher (UP) Qualification:  Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education. Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School. Hindi Teacher (UP) Qualification: Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent). Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC-recognized University. 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education. Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these vacancy by visiting Official DEE Assam Recruitment Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply for Assam TET Teacher Vacancy.

1. Scroll down, go to Important Links section .
2. Click on the “Online Application Form” and complete the registration process by clicking “Register Now“.
3. In the next stage, fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
4. At the end, submit the form.
5. After submitting the online application, the candidates will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and will keep the printout of the unique Number for all future references.

Note : Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll Number of ATET/CTET for UPS examination, they will be not allowed to submit the online application for second time.

 

Documents To Upload with DEE Teacher Online Application Form :

Documents as mentioned below should be coloured scanned and upload while applying online.

• Passport Size Photograph.
• HSLC Admit Card.
• HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
• Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate.
• Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
• DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
• Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
• Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
• Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET for UPS.
• Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
• Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
• Scanned Signature.
