Gauhati University has officially released the FYUGP 3rd Semester Examination Routine 2025 for BA, B.Sc., and B.Com (Regular Batch 2024) students. The exams are set to begin from 1st December 2025 and will continue till 9th December 2025. Students can now download the complete timetable and check subject-wise details for Major, Minor, MDC, and VAC papers.

The official notification (Ref: GU/FYUGP/Semester III/2025/0100) issued by Prof. K.K. Sarma, Controller of Examinations, confirms the following schedule:

🎓 Important Guidelines for Students

Major + Minor Candidates (1 Major + 1 Minor)

Example: Major in English and Minor in Philosophy.

Must appear for both English Major papers on 01.12.2025 and 03.12.2025 (Morning Shift).

Then appear for Minor paper on 06.12.2025 or 08.12.2025 (Set-B).
-
Such candidates cannot appear for Minor Set-A papers.

Double Minor Candidates (2 Minors)

Example: 1st Minor in Economics and 2nd Minor in Education.

Must appear for 1st Minor papers on 01.12.2025 & 03.12.2025 (Afternoon Shift).

2nd Minor paper must be taken on 06.12.2025 or 08.12.2025 (Set-B).
