Selection Process :
- Candidates will be selected for apprenticeship based on their unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise merit ranking. For each unit, the merit list will be prepared by considering the marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks required) and the relevant ITI trade for which the candidate has applied. The final merit score will be calculated by taking the average of the Matriculation and ITI marks.
- For the Laboratory Technician (Pathology) and Laboratory Technician (Radiology) trades, the merit list will be prepared using the marks obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) and Class 12 Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects.
- While calculating the merit, the authorities will consider the total marks obtained in all subjects of the Matriculation or Higher Secondary examination (where applicable). Merit will not be determined based on the marks of any single subject or a selected group of subjects.
- For ITI-qualified candidates, only the average marks mentioned in the consolidated mark sheet covering all semesters of the relevant trade or the marks specified in the provisional National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by NCVT/SCVT will be taken into account. Candidates must ensure that all marks entered in the application are accurate. Providing false or incorrect information regarding marks will result in immediate disqualification from the selection process.
