About Portal :
Assam HS Admission 2025 for Higher Secondary 1st year classes will be completed through “Darpan”, the common portal for online HS admission .
The principals of colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools, willing to avail this facility, can register for the same in online mode.
How to Apply ?

Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.

A portal will load, click on Register a new Account link.

Next you need to enter your personal and educational details as required by the portal.

Upload scan copy of passport sized photograph and 10th mark sheet.

Next choose a 4 digit Login PIN and click on register button .

Next again click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link and log in again.

Select your desired course and colleges/ schools . You may choose maximum five institutions in order of their preference for admission.

At the end, click on submit button and take a print of submitted form for future reference .

Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.
Documents to be Upload :
Students must keep the following listed documents ready in JPG, JPEG or PNG file format within maximum size of 1 MB during online application form submission.
- Recent Passport Size Photograph.
- HSLC/ 10th Marksheet (Digital).
- Caste Certificate (As applicable).
- Income Certificate
- BPL Certificate
- Disability Certificate (As applicable).
- TGL or Ex-TGL Certificate (As applicable).
- Gap Certificate (As applicable).

- Preparation of merit list by institutes: 25th April 2025 to 26th April 2025
- Date of Declaration of Merit List: 27th April 2025 (At 10:00 AM)

- Confirmation of admissions by institutions: 30th April 2025 to 10th May 2025

Merit List :
How to Check AHSEC Admission Merit List ?
Students who submitted their online applications for admission in to Higher Secondary 1st year under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will be able to check their admission merit list in due course of time. The merit list will be prepared by the colleges and schools on the basis of their performance in the HSLC/ AHM examination. To check category-wise Assam HS Admission 2025 Merit List, you may follow below mentioned steps .
- Scroll up, go to Important Link section.
- Click on HS 1st Year Merit List link.
- A new webpage will load – enter your Mobile Number, Date of Birth, Security PIN and click Login.
- Darpan portal dashboard will be opened. Click on Application Submitted button.
- It will display the list of names of all of your submitted application for colleges/schools.
- Against the name of each school/ college, you will get the details about your admission request.
- If you are shortlisted in the merit list, click on the Accept Admission Request link and accept your admission in the desired college/school.
