Eligibility Criteria for PFRDA Recruitment 2026 – 30 Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Posts

Candidates applying for the PFRDA Officer Grade ‘A’ (Assistant Manager) recruitment must not have exceeded 30 years of age as on 31st July 2026. In other words, candidates must have been born on or after 1st August 1996.

For Actuary, candidates need graduation from a recognized University/Institute and must have passed or obtained exemption in all seven Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India Examination.

For Official Language (Rajbhasha), the accepted qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English as a subject at Bachelor’s level, a Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor’s level, or a Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation.

Selection Process for PFRDA Recruitment 2026 –

The selection process consists of three stages. Candidates must qualify at each stage to progress further.

1. Phase I – Online Screening Examination: This phase contains two papers. Paper 1 carries 100 marks and covers English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness, with 90 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. Paper 2 is stream-specific, carrying 100 marks with 50 questions and a duration of 40 minutes. A negative marking of 1/4 mark applies for each wrong answer.
2. Phase II – Online Examination: Paper 1 is a descriptive English paper of 100 marks with three questions and 60 minutes duration. Paper 2 is an objective stream-specific paper of 100 marks, containing 50 questions to be answered in 40 minutes. Paper 1 carries one-third weightage and Paper 2 carries two-thirds weightage in Phase II. A 1/4 negative marking applies to Paper 2.
3. Phase III – Interview: Candidates shortlisted after Phase II will be called for the interview. The interview may be conducted in Hindi or English according to the candidate’s choice.

The marks obtained in Phase I are used only for shortlisting candidates for Phase II and are not considered for final selection. Candidates shortlisted for the interview from Phase II will be limited to five times the total number of vacancies. Final selection will be based on the prescribed weightage of Phase II and the Interview.
