State Bank of India (SBI) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 7150 Apprentice vacancy under the Apprentice Act 1961 (as amended from time to time). Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.
Minimum educational qualification is to be a Graduate.

Stipend: The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits |
Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Candidates can appear for the examination only once under this engagement project.

Eligibility Criteria :
Local Language for Assam: Assamese / Bengali
Age Limit:Age of the candidates must be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.04.2026 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.2006 and not earlier than 02.04.1998 (both days inclusive).
Duration of Training: Duration of training is of one year.
Educational Qualification for SBI Apprentice 2026 :
Candidate must be a Graduate from a recognised University/ Institute as on 1st April 2026.

General/ OBC/ EWS: Rs. 300/- (Including Intimation Charges)
SC/ST/PWD/: Nil

- Click on Online Application Form link .
- A new webpage will be opened.
- Enter all your personal and educational details as required .
- Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.
- Pay the application fees as per your category and at the end click on submit button .
- Don’t forget to take a print of submitted application form .

- Last Date for Online Registration & Payment of Fee: 8th June 2026

Selection Process :
Selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of:-
(i) Online written test, and
(ii) Test of local language
The structure of online written examination (online objective type) would be as follows:
General/ Financial Awareness: 25 Marks
General English: 25 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Marks
Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude: 25 Marks
Total Question of 100 questions and 100 Marks within 60 minutes.
Note: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
