The government of Assam started a scheme named Pragyan Bharati Scheme in 2020, under this scheme the government will provide scooty to all the girl students who have secured 60 or more percentile marks in the higher secondary examination conducted by AHSEC. As per the recent cabinet announcement, this scheme will also provide scooters to students for the year 2024. Boy students securing 75% or more marks will also be benefited from Pragyan Bharti Scheme.

How to Apply :
Students who are eligible as per the official notification will be able to submit their online applications for Pragyan Bharati Scheme within the stipulated time. Applications from eligible candidates will be accepted through the official web portal. For the ease of our users, we have provided here a step wise guide of the online application process. Candidates can follow the following steps to complete their application process.
- Scroll down, to visit the Important Links section.
- Click on the Online Application Link.
- Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
- In that portal, you will get a login form.
- In that form, enter your Roll Number as User ID and Registration Number as Password.
- Now, click on the login button to login to the portal.
- After successful login, you have to enter all the asked details carefully.
- Now, there will be two types of Scooty (e.g Electrically operated and Petrol operated) and the students have to mark their choice of variant.
- After that student has to provide their Address for communication along with their Mobile Number and Email Address (if available).
- Now, you can submit your Scooty application by clicking on the submit button.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
- Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
District Wise Distribution Schedule :
As of now, the government of Assam has not notified the distribution date for this year. In 2022, the government of Assam started the distribution process of scooters from 30th November 2022. In the first phase, the awards were distributed to the students of the Kamrup and Kamrup (Metro) districts of Assam. In this section, we will update the distribution dates of all the districts gradually after the official announcements.
