Eligibility Criteria for UIIC Recruitment 2026

For these Administrative Officer vacancies, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 30.06.2026. The candidate should have been born on or after 30.06.1996 and on or before 30.06.2005, with both dates included.

Age relaxation is available for specified categories according to the recruitment rules. SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of relaxation, while OBC-NCL candidates receive 3 years. Selection Process for UIIC Recruitment 2026

The selection process consists of three stages:

The Preliminary Examination is a qualifying test carrying 100 marks and has a duration of 60 minutes.

Main Examination

For Generalist candidates, the objective examination carries 250 marks with 200 questions and a duration of 150 minutes. A 30-mark descriptive test follows for candidates qualifying the objective test, covering Letter Writing and Essay Writing within 30 minutes.

For Hindi Officer candidates, the objective examination carries 200 marks with 150 questions and lasts 120 minutes. The subjects include English Language, Reasoning, Professional Knowledge of Hindi/English, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. A 50-mark descriptive test follows, covering essay writing, letter writing and translation in English/Hindi, with a duration of 60 minutes.

Interview

Candidates qualifying in the Main Examination are shortlisted for the interview. The number of candidates called may be up to three times the number of vacancies available in the respective category and discipline.
