Recruitment Details :

Name of post: Assistant Accounts Officer

No of posts: 69 posts

Pay: Rs.25,000 – Rs.92,000 [Grade Pay = Rs.11,000/- | Pay Band 3]

Other Criteria :

Residentship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to B of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.

PRC: The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application.

Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024).

Age Relaxation :

The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below

  • SC/STP/STH – 5 years
  • OBC/MOBC  – 3 years
  • PwBD – 10 years

Vigilance Clearance: The candidate should be free from any vigilance/ criminal cases.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should have proficiency in Assamese/ Local Language.

Character:

  • The candidate must have a good character.
  • His/her character and antecedents are such as to qualify him/her for such service, provided that any candidate who is dismissed or discharged from Service of the Government or any other Organization for misconduct or who is convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude shall be disqualified for appointment.

Educational Qualification: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks OR its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) OR minimum 55% aggregate marks or its quivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subject or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc).
  • For departmental candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe minimum qualification marks in a bachelor degree is 50%.

 

Computer Proficiency: Candidates should possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.

Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
