The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has issued an official notification regarding the GNM Entrance Examination (GNMEE), 2024. Candidates interested in studying the GNM course in various medical education institutes of Assam must qualify the GNMEE conducted by SSUHS. The online application for the Assam GNM Admission Entrance Exam will start on May 10, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria of GNM Admission :

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for GNM admission:

• 10+2 class passed preferably Science (PCB) and English with an aggregate of 40% marks.
• 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/ English Elective or Health Care Science – Vocational stream ONLY, passing out from recognize Board under AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE/ SSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks.
• 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent Board from the school and recognized by Indian Nursing Council with 40% marks.
• Registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2024, and the maximum age for admission is 35 years. There is no age limit for ANM/LHV.

Examination Fee of SSUHS GNM Admission :

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs.1500/- if they belong to the General category and Rs.1200/- if they belong to SC/ST/EWS/OBC/MOBC categories, including Tai Ahom, Koch Rajbongshi, Moran, Matak, Chutia communities, and TGL/Ex-TGL category.

Payment Method: Candidates can pay their examination fee through an online payment gateway. Candidates should have any one of the following options to make the online payment – ​​Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

GNM Entrance Exam Details :

Date of Exam: 14th July 2024 (Sunday)

Time of Exam: 10 AM to 1 PM

Duration of Exam: 3 Hours

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions

No of Questions: 100 MCQs

Total Marks: 100 Marks (1 mark for each correct answer).

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.

Medium of Exam: The question paper will be both in English and Assamese language.

Exam Centres: Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur and Kokrajhar.

Syllabus of GNM Admission Exam :

GNM Entrance Exam (GNMEE), 2024 will be based on the 10th standard syllabus. There will be a single question paper consisting of the following sections.
