In a bid to streamline the admission process for Under Graduate Programmes in all Higher Education Institutes of Assam, Govt. of Assam has launched an common online admission portal called SAMARTH. SAMARTH Admission Portal will facilitate the admission process of BA, BCom, BSc, etc in online mode as per New Education Policy 2020 in Assam.

“Samarth” is an initiative by the Ministry of Education started in 2019, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III), with an aim to enable the universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through a digital framework for planning, management, delivery, and monitoring of services for students, staff, and other stakeholders. Under the project, the HEIs are provided with a fully managed, cloud based, comprehensive ERP that is custom built for HEIs of the country.

How to Apply :

1. Scroll down, go to Important Linkssection.
2. Click Online Application Form Link.
3. First Register yourself putting your basic details.
4. Next, enter all personal and educational information as required.
5. Upload your educational and other documents as required.
6. At the end, submit the form. An acknowledgement receipt will be generated.
7. Also, take a print of the submitted form and acknowledgement copy .

• Last date for submission of the online Application: 28th June 2023
• Publication of 1st Merit List: 4th July 2023
• Closing of offline Admission (1st List): 7th July 2023
• Publication of 2nd Merit List: 8th July 2023
• Closing of offline Admission (2nd List): 11th July 2023
• Publication of 3rd Merit List: 12th July 2023
• Closing of offline Admission (3rd List): 15th July 2023
• Spot offline admission: 17th to 18th July 2023
