Age Limit: The age of the candidates for admission must not be below 14 years as on 1st July 2026 .

Interested and eligible candidates must first register their name online by visiting official ITI Admission Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply for these courses.

- Click on the “Online Registration” and complete the registration process by clicking “New Candidate Registration“.
- After that again click on Online Registration Link and login with your Application Number & Password.
- Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
- At the end, take a print out of the application form .

Counseling for ITI Admission :
After registration, all the candidates will have to report at their nearest Govt. ITI along with their all original documents, certificates etc. within the scheduled date & time, for verification of their registration particulars. Next, the candidate has to fill his choices & save his choice within the stipulated time period as declared by the DE&CT Assam in counselling schedule.
After the choice filling is over, all filled choices of all registered candidates will be considered for allotment of seats as per merit (Rank) & category of the candidate. The allotment will be made against one seat & the allotment of seat is purely provisional.

ITI Assam Admission Fee :
Candidates need to pay a certain amount as admission fee to get admission in different ITIs of Assam. Here are the admission fees that is fixed for current academic session.
NCVT & SCVT Trades
- Tuition Fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year) | Rs.1200/- (for two years)
- Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/-
- Registration Fees: Rs.25/-
- Medical Examination, Fees: Rs. 25/-
- Trainees Union Fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/-
- Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable)
- Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)
Note : For BPL Candidates, the payment of Tuition fees is waived off, except SCVT under IMC courses.
